Increasing the death notice in Counter-Strike Source

This tutorial will show you how to increase the kills that Counter-Strike Source shows at the top right.
The standard value is 4, so If you make a ace it will always show 4. In this tutorial I will try to show you how to change that to 5 or what ever value you want.

- Step 1

Go to your scripts folder of Counter-Strike Source.
X:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\YOURUSERNAME\counter-strike source\cstrike\scripts

- Step 2

Open up the file 'hudlayout.res' with notepad.

- Step 3

Press CTRL+F to call the search function of notepad.
Now search for "MaxDeathNotices" or "HudDeathNotice"

Now you will see this.

- Step 4

Change the green bold 4, to any thing you want.
I will stick with 5, So you will get.

Now save the file, and start Counter-Strike Source.
